BSL Courses
We offer everyone a range of British Sign Language courses ranging from beginners to advanced learners such as trainee & qualified interpreters also for BSL teachers. Our team are native qualified Deaf BSL teachers.
Learners have the benefit of learning our language from Deaf people who offer a wealth of first hand experience of what it is to be deaf in this world. People can choose to get accredited qualifications or not.
Our courses carry 100% pass rates and our commitment to quality means that our teachers and trainers attend Continuing Professional Development training every year.
Deafblind Courses
Our Deafblind Awareness and Communicating with Deafblind people courses are very popular. The courses are suitable for those who live and work with Deafblind people.
Also for those who just simply would like to learn more. The courses can lead to professional accreditation, it is not compulsory.
CPD and other Courses
We offer various training opportunities for those who would like to upskill, retrain or just refresh themselves. We offer a range of workshops and courses for interpreters, deaf people, professionals and anyone in general really.
We invite a range of interesting trainers, presenters to offer these opportunities for you. Previous training provided have included ‘What are Interpreters’, ‘Hearing Awareness’, ‘Becoming a BSL teacher’, ‘BSL teacher development programme’, ‘BSL Linguistics’, ‘Dementia Awareness’, ‘Food Hygiene’, ‘English for Fun’, ‘Introduction to Deafhood’, ‘Learning how to Paint’, amongst other things.
